More Gulf Coast-Naples/Clam Pass Park

I left Fort Myers and drove down this coastal road into Naples, Florida.

I looked up a couple beaches and decided on Clam Pass Park. The winding bridge travels over the marsh that’s thick with mangroves.

Then it opened up to this…

The sand was white and fine, the shells were plentiful. Still very calm water, knee-deep for hundreds of feet out.

Naples is a very wealthy area with mostly gated communities. If you’d dropped me onto the large, wide streets without my knowing, I would think I was in Phoenix.

I found a restaurant and ate some lunch. Then headed away from the coast, back to Labelle.

Here’s my little pad. I live in a trailer park and I’m damn proud of it. :).
My dad secured this little place for me and I am so grateful for the privacy and space. We are spending time together like we never have before. In the past, our visits were concentrated over a few days. Now, it has a more natural flow and we can see each other for a few hours and then part and do our own thing. It’s a blessing to me.

I’m starting to calm down and not be so goal-oriented and driven. It’s been a lesson and because God is good and He whispers to me, I can hear that I am supposed to change my pace for awhile. I feel different than I did a week ago (duh, go figure). But it’s interesting to experience my spirit and perspective change. I feel like I’m getting an opportunity to be quieter, more still and move at a slower pace so that I can have energy and direction for whatever is to come; for whatever God has for me next.

Awe…..I can feel the peace through your words that has begun to settle upon you! I LOVE the sand in Florida. I can’t wait to come visit you once I get some PTO under my belt.

The glorious whispers that come through, like when the still air starts moving and rushes across your face and moves your hair, gently. Claim every word God gives your. Claim His favor as His child, not because of anything other than He loves you. He is Love, and He longs to commune with you; bless your life in ways that you haven’t thought of!

    Blessings and love….
