Labelle is a sweet little town. I have enjoyed my time here. When I came here from the ocean coast a month or so ago, I prayed that God would put a love in my heart for this place and He has.
My dad and I have grown so close and it’s been a true blessing.
I will never forget my time in Labelle, Florida
This is the little pond by my trailer. There’s an alligator in there too! The wildlife in Florida is fantastic. Although I do miss the bears.
This is The Boat House on the Caloosahatchee River. It’s fun.
I love Christmas music in the tropics.
The town of Ave Maria (from wiki):
Ave Maria, Florida is an unincorporated community that was founded in 2005 by Ave Maria Development Company, a partnership consisting of the Barron Collier Companies and Ave Maria Foundation led by Roman Catholic philanthropist Tom Monaghan, founder of Domino’s Pizza and leader of Ave Maria University at the time. Monaghan served as chancellor of Ave Maria University until February 2011. The development of the town was made possible when the Florida legislature created the Ave Maria Stewardship Community District, a limited local government whose purpose is to provide community infrastructure, including community development systems, facilities, services, projects, and improvements. In 2015-16, it was ranked the 40th top-selling master planned community in the United States, out of 230 such communities tracked.
Honestly, the place is a little odd to me. Stepford Wife-ish. But it was still nice and clean and…interesting.
The church was AH-mazing.
MASSIVE. My hunch is there hasn’t been a Catholic Cathedral built new in many, many years.
Very interesting architecture. Frank Lloyd Wright comes to mind.
I’m so glad GOD has blessed your time with your Dad❤️ Merry Christmas and Happy New Years
