My dear friend, spiritual mentor and hilarious side-kick Wendy, baptized me in this beautiful setting in Prescott, AZ on October 21, 2020.
Thank you to new friends, Karen and Pete, who offered their lovely home for the baptism.
Thank you to friends Mary, Kris, and her daughters Bekah and Sarah, who joined as witnesses and in celebration.
My friend Roger, who counseled me months ago about baptism and its meaning, phoned in a blessing and a prayer. I feel so blessed and happy.
My wonderful Christian Family sent me blessings and scripture. I’m grateful and honored to know them.

“Psalm 32 was my favorite anchor passage that I held on to when I fully gave my heart to the Lord…I recall the complete freedom that came from forgiveness and his great love that covered my sin. I love the picture of God as our hiding place and treasure his promise to shelter, lead, and fill us with his love and joy throughout this journey.” – Kathy
“Lord, Suzi is special and Your girl. She has much to do in Your name. We are so excited to walk alongside her. In Jesus mighty name, amen.” – Iris
“❤️?. Psalm 25:14
The Passion Translation
There’s a private place reserved for the lovers of God, where they sit near him and receive the revelation-secrets of his promises.” – Lisa
“Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord himself and not merely for others.

“Suzi, welcome to the Family!!! I am overjoyed that I have a new sister in the Lord! To God be the Glory!!! Today, your brothers and sisters in Christ gather together with you, in person and in spirit, to witness the salvation that is yours in our Savior, Jesus the Christ. As Paull tells us in Ephesians, look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. I pray and encourage you to live a life of diligence, faithfulness and zeal for God through the power of His Holy Spirit. By His grace you have been saved and are covered by the blood of Jesus! Now, with His strength, walk in obedience to your Creator and Redeemer. May His word renew your mind, and be exemplified in your life and conduct. Meditate on his principles and have a reverence and fear of His holy name, for the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and its practice is everlasting happiness. Reflect deeply and often on your relationship with Christ. Remember that it is in God you live and move and have your being. As David tells us, He has searched you and knows you. He knows when you sit and when you rise; there is not a thought in your heart, nor a word upon your tongue He doesn’t know. One day, we will all stand before His mighty throne and give an account for all our conduct in this mortal life; therefore, be wise to what is good and innocent of what is evil. Praise be to God that you are now the redeemed of the Lord, that you have been bought with a price, even the immeasurable price of the precious blood of the Son of God. Adore Jehovah, as your God and your Judge. Love, fear, and serve Him as your Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier. Be a student of His word and ask His Holy Spirit to teach and guide you in all things. I pray that God will protect you from the enemy’s schemes so that you may be a Mighty warrior in His kingdom for His name’s sake. Run the race that is set before you with patience, perseverance, virtue and love. Finally, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is good, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things and do them and the God of peace shall be with you. May God continue to draw you to himself and make you more like him as that is His will for all of his children. Lastly, I humble pray that in His faithfulness, He will be your guardian and your guide, your protector and the rock of your defense, your Savior and your God.
– Your Sister in Christ, Jen “
My precious friend, Suzi,
I celebrate your decision to be baptized and Jesus is honored by your act of faith and obedience. What a blessing it has and continues to be to watch you grow in faith from the moment you confessed with your mouth and believed in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord.
I love the excitement that is heard in your voice over that one decision, a decision that has been the catalyst to re-evaluate and change your priorities to line up with the values and principles of your faith in Jesus Christ. I celebrate your public confession of your belief in Jesus and love how you freely and openly share your faith with others, which facilitates belief, hope, inspiration and encouragement.
Your decision is such a meaningful and symbolic action because the act of dunking in the water symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, which is the powerful act that allows salvation from sin and death and now you are raised to a new life in Him. The old is gone, the new has come.
It is such an honor and privilege for me to share in your special day. I celebrate you!
Love you sweet & precious friend,
– Wannetta
Ephesians 4:1-6
Our Divine Calling
4 As a prisoner of the Lord,[a] I plead with you to walk holy, in a way that is suitable to your high rank, given to you in your divine calling. 2 With tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrate gentleness and generous[b] love toward one another, especially toward those who may try your patience. 3 Be faithful to guard the sweet harmony of the Holy Spirit among you in the bonds of peace, 4 being one body and one spirit, as you were all called into the same glorious hope of divine destiny.
5 For the Lord God is one, and so are we, for we share in one faith, one baptism, and one Father. 6 And He is the perfect Father who leads us all, works through us all, and lives in us all! – Wannetta
“2 Chronicles 15:12
Like the Israelites entered into a covenant to serve God with all their hearts and all their souls
As she gets baptized let her make the same covenant and the Lord will stay with her forever.
She will never be alone.” – Olive
“Congratulations on choosing life!” – Dr. Dave
“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”
Joshua 24:15 – Bernie
