I drove straight into the cold front

The trip to Prescott was a smashing success. Loads of fun and peaceful too! It was the perfect start to my cross-country trip.

We saw Trump, I got Baptized, we went to Phoenix and saw Che Ahn and Lance Wallnau. We had dinners in, lunches out and we got a pedicure! I did my toenails in Florida-bound hot pink.

I was blessed to go to my favorite church the morning before I took off.

Wendy and Kris prayed for me at the car and Wendy called all the angels to flank me.

They blew me a kiss!

I decided to wander off I-17 to Sedona. Such a beautiful place. Well worth the detour!

Good thing Wendy and Kris prayed for me because things were coming at me left and right after I got back on the freeway!

The first thing…I got attacked by a tumbleweed! It got stuck to my grill and I KNOW it was scratching my paint up there! Grrr. ?
But there was NO WHERE TO GO. I couldn’t pull over so just had to suck it up.

Then, there was a dust storm! I have NEVER experienced that before. It is very different than a white-out snow storm but not by much.

Obviously I wasn’t snapping photos but here’s an idea of what it looked like…

Right after the dust storm, I narrowly missed running over an upturned spiky hubcap. Good grief.

Ok, well…by then I was done with that noise.  I shouted in my car, “In the name of JESUS, GO SATAN!!” ????
I prayed for the angels to come and guess what? The rest of the trip was largely uneventful.

You skeptical ones? Give it a try. You’ll be surprised the little wonders that God slips in left and right…for the faithful observer.

Four-corners (where Utah, New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona meet) was “closed”. It’s on the Navajo Nation and they are shut down right now.

I drove into New Mexico.

In less than a mile, and I was in Colorado!

A few photos from the journey…

This was in the middle of NOWHERE.

I made it to Cortez, CO and stayed in a little Motel: The Retro. I like it. My room is 1956. The gal at the desk said, “Tonight, you’ll be rooming with Elvis.”

This happened last night….

Today, on to Mesa Verde and Durango. Sun’s coming out and it’s COLD! But, I know how to do this!

Thank you, God for this day You’ve made! Amen!

Wow Suzi, you are so born again. A new creation in Christ! I love your posts! Our church use to be part of Che Ann’s and I have listened to Lance’s teaching for years. I look forward to hearing more of you adventures. Maureen
